Happy the year of Dragon!
In February 2024, our Vietnamese community celebrated Tết holiday, welcoming the year of Dragon. Within that festive atmosphere preparing for Tết, I had an idea of designing a series of red envelopes or so-called “Lì Xì” as way to send my new year wishes and gratitude to my Vietnamese friends and also to introduce Vietnamese culture to my professors, coworkers and friends whom I’m grateful to know during my time studying in the U.S.
The red envelopes were also gifted to around 200 visitors attending the "Lunar New Year Party 2024" arranged by Vietnam Student Association at Bowling Green State University.
